Platinum & Palladium Bars & Coins
Platinum and Palladium are often overlooked as great investment Commodities.
Platinum is more valuable than Gold and is currently worth about 3% more than Gold and about 83 times more valuable than Silver.
Palladium is also more valuable than Silver, but less valuable than Gold, Palladium is currently worth between one fifth to one fourth the value of Gold and about 17 times the value of Silver.
The U.S. Mint notified authorized dealers on Oct. 6, 2008 that Plantinum American Eagles will be produced only as long a current supplies of blanks last. Since then, all 2008 Platinum American Eagles have been sold out at the U.S. Mint.

The U.S. Mint has produced Platinum American Eagles since 1997 with a face value of $100 for the one ounce coin, $50 for the 1/2 oz., $25 for 1/4 oz & $10 for the 1/10 oz. coin.

The U.S. is not the only Country to produce Platinum Bullion Coins.
The first Platinum Coin available for investment was the Platinum Nobles (from the Isle of Man), which was first produced in 1983.
Platinum Bullion Coins are also produced by Canada as Platinum Maple Leafs and Australia as Platinum Koalas.
