Seated Liberty Dimes
 
"Seated Liberty" Dimes were produced between 1837-1891 at between 2 and 4 different U.S. Mints.  Seated Liberty Dimes are 90% Silver and 10% Copper.
 
The "Seated Liberty" dime was produced between 1837-1855 only at the Philadelphia Mint (No mint mark) and at the New Orleans (O) Mint.
 
Between 1856 and 1860 Seated Liberty Dimes were produced at three Mints (Philadelphia (no mint mark), New Orleans (O) and San Francisco (S).

Production of Seated Liberty Dimes at the New Orleans Mint ceased in 1861 due to the Civil War, so they were produced only at the Philadelphia and San Francisco mints between 1861-1870.
 
Production of Seated Liberty Dimes with the "CC" mint mark (Carson City) in 1871.  Seated Liberty Dimes were produced at 3 mints; Philadelphia, San Francisco and Carson City between 1871-1878.  
 
Seated Liberty Dimes were only produced at the Philadelphia Mint between 1879-1883.
 
In 1884, Seated Liberty Dimes were minted again at the San Francisco Mint, so between 1884 and 1890, they were produced at both the Philadelphia and San Francisco mints.
 
The last year the Seated Liberty Dime was produced was 1891 at three mints; Philadelphia, San Francisco and again at New Orleans (Mint mark "O") for the first time since before the Civil War (1860).
 
The rarest Seated Liberty Dime is the 1873-CC "No Arrows", with only 2 examples that are known (12,400 minted).
   
The number of Seated Liberty Dimes minted, ranged from a low for the 1867 Philadelphia mint of 6,000 to a high of 15.3 million in 1891 (Philadelphia Mint).
